Blemain Group bring Christmas cheer to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital

Employees at Blemain Group have worked together to donate a selection of our favourite books for children at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, ranging in age from toddlers to teenagers. The books are needed so that the children have a book to read while they are in hospital over Christmas time.

The donation was part of our on-going initiative to support a variety of causes and charities, which in 2011 included Movember for men’s health awareness and Mind, the mental health charity.

The Chair of our Supporting the Community Committee said:

"The response from staff with all our fundraising efforts has always been fantastic and this is no different.

"Everyone is getting involved throughout the company to donate their childhood favourites or books that will lift the spirits of the children who are sadly in hospital over Christmas."

A Spokeswoman at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity said:

"We are very grateful for Blemain Group’s ongoing support which makes a huge difference to thousands of poorly children across the North West."
