Blemain Group Raises Money for Many Hands

We are proud to announce that our employees have raised £6,500 so far this year for the Many Hands campaign in support of Royal Manchester Children's Hospital charity.

We hosted a variety of fundraising activities at our offices in Charles Street and held an awareness day at The Trafford Centre with the help of Humphrey, the mascot for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

With 'Be Seen in Green' the motto of the day, employees paid to dress down in green and different departments competed to raise the most money with other activities. Bake sales, chilli-eating contests and record-breaking attempts saw us raise almost £3,000 on the day.

The fund raising day was part of an on-going initiative of our Supporting the Community Committee, helping organisations across the North West. Our efforts have contributed vital funds to the Many Hands campaign, which brings together the business community to raise money and awareness for sick children at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

The Chair of our supporting the community committee said:

"We have been overwhelmed with the contributions that all the staff have made to this great cause. Everyone was enthusiastically involved and did their bit to raise money for the hospital."

A spokesperson for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital charity said:
